Happy December!

Tonight I'm in an unusually happy mood. Everyone is sleeping, and i feel so content, and at peace. Though a bucket of Rum Raisin Ice cream would send me through the roof right about now that isn't part of my dietary plan lol.
Well the semester has come to an end and it is now Winter Break, so I'm home for the Holidays. Yayyy! God Bless.

FMU Uproar

There are a million and one things going one that people can do to make better, but choose NOT to. Monday night (October 19, 2009) there was an UPROAR at my University (FMU).
After being caught with an illegal substance, a student was chased into a mens restroom, where he was brutally beaten by several security guards. Although the young man being charged had no right with the substance, the security officers were in the wrong to begin with, locking the young man in the bathroom. After several minutes of banging on the door, a student preceeded to kick the door open. Another guard came out, and pointed his weapon towards the crowd of students.
Me, being a witness to the situation, I felt as if my life was in danger. I will admit that the crowd was extremely rowdy and uncontrollable, but as much as i hate ignorance, and violence, the guard had ABSOLOUTELY no right for his actions. This story landed on Channel 7, having absoloutely no effect on the situation, just making the school itself look at bad. Take a look.

College Life

... Is exactly what its cracked up to be. Fun, tiring, and everything else you've ever heard. August 15, 2009 I entered Florida Memorial University as a freshman. I've only been here for about a month but I can honestly say that I've grown alot. Being on your own teaches you to make decisions. What time you should get in, what you should be eating, doing your work. No one is here to force you to do anything you don't want to do. You have to be disciplined, and remember all of life lessons that you were taught because this is where you use them. It's sounds corny but it's true. I mean college consist of essays, test, bookwork, but also fun. Work hard , but play harderr! Here are a few pics. I'm working on getting a pic of me studying or something lol. Until then..
